Last weekend was full of excitement and travel here at home in the US. On Friday I spent some time with Q down in Boca Florida for the annual Q Fest. Friday night there was a basketball event that a lot of NFL players showed up for. It was great to see some of my current and former teammates, Anquan, Antrel Rolle, Steve Breaston, Bryant McFadden and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. It was great to catch up with the guys, spend some time, and just relax.

First thing Saturday morning I jumped on a plane to go to watch spring football at Pitt. It was tough to take the 40 degree weather with my thin Arizona blood used to temperatures in the 70’s! I have so many wonderful memories of how much fun I had in college. It was great to see familiar faces like Tyler Palko, Rod Rutherford, Kris Wilson, Torrie Cox, Matt Morgan, and E.J. Borghetti who traveled all over the country with me during the Heisman voting when I was a finalist. Kris and Torrie have a charity event every year which gave me another opportunity to catch up with the guys. Sunday morning I went to my old church Mt. Ararat. We had a light brunch, broke bread and talked about our lives.

I missed the Suns opening playoff game but I hope to get to more games to support them in the first round, the second round and deep into the playoffs. The Suns and the Coyotes are both in the playoffs this year and I’m going to be supporting both teams while my team is working hard to get ready to try to return to the NFL playoffs again this season.

I think you had a very wonderful travel with your teammates and good traveling companion.
I want you to enjoy yourself during a off-season, return to the field with good mental and physical conditions.
And I am hopefully waiting for a day that Cards will return to tha playoffs again and get Super Bowl Rings !

I just wanted to say that you really are a great person and I think its really wonderful how u respond to all the kids!! You are the role model every parent wants for their kids:)

We were so happy you were back in the burgh for the Spring Game. You brought so much pride to the university and truly are a class act. As an alum, I am so happy you are finishing what you started there, both academically and athletically. I am proud to be in the city of black and gold wearing a Cardinals jersey! Hope you have a great upcoming season.

My goodness, Larry travels all over the world and US. It's great to hear about his journey during the off season. I look forward to more posts in the future as he and his teammates prepare for another dominate season!
