During our bye week I went to New York to appear briefly on Good Morning America to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  The folks on that program were really cool.  Robin Roberts is a breast cancer survivor and Andrew Cuomo is a big football fan so I really enjoyed my time with them.

As you know by now I’ve teamed up with ColdStone Creamery to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer prevention and treatment.  Early detection and treatment increase a woman’s chances of surviving breast cancer.  For more information check out the websites of the National Breast Cancer Foundation and Sisters Network Inc.

After the bye week it’s good to get back to practice.  Our game against the Colts gave us a lot to think about.  After a game like that you just want to get out there and compete again and give a better performance.  I did not feel like having time off I just wanted to get back to work.

Send in more questions for me and I’ll try to answer them.  Thanks for the support this season.

Fritz I am proud to be a fan of a player who carries himself as well as he does on the field as he does off. Props to you.

Now here is an idea: I told my girl I needed pink to watch the Cards game Sunday. She said, "just wash your #11 jersey with your underwear & socks and everything will be pink, so your set".

So come on Cards fans, lets do it for Larry & Breast Cancer! Pink undies, socks..everything!

Hello Larry,
Last year, I watched you play and read the story of your background. I am very impressed with your accomplished as a player and as a young man. Your mother would be very proud of you.
I'm old enough to be your grandmother and I want you to know that I'm trying to keep up with your schedule so I can watch you play as often as possible. I'm from Florida and want you to know that I'm praying that you continue to have a great season.
Take care,
Gerri

All Out Support

Larry,

I am so proud to see an NFL player do so much to support Breast Cancer awareness. I don't think i have seen it more from anyone else than what you have shown everyone. I remember that tweet that you sent out about pointing up to the sky on sunday if you were fortunate enough to score, and you lived up to your word! i showed my mother Rachel that message before the game and it brought a tear to her eye because she knows all about being a breast cancer survivor and she knows all that support is going to help find a cure. I just want to thank you for everything that you are doing for it and you keep doing what you best on the field and out there with the support!!!

im your biggest fan!

Dear Larry,

Thanks to you, your family and friends the members of the African American Breast Cancer Alliance in Minnesota enjoyed a wonderful weekend "Carol's Getaway Retreat for Sisters In Survival" this November 2009. Your mother Carol was a beautiful and loving member of the AABCA and one of her dreams was for our support group to go on a fun-filled and uplifting retreat to celebrate ourselves and take a break from cancer. We survive and thrive! Thanks again!
