Larry Fitzgerald

Larry Fitzgerald is cementing himself as a household name

Following the 2008 and 2009 seasons which saw the crowning of his team as the NFC West Champions and Pro Bowl selections. Larry set the single postseason record in yards receiving (surpassing future Hall of Famer Jerry Rice). Larry’s 3 touchdowns in the first half of the NFC Championship Game helped send the Arizona Cardinals to their first Super Bowl berth, playing in Super Bowl XLIII vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"Playing in the Super Bowl last year was a dream come true. The result wasn't what we wanted, true, and I give Pittsburgh their due. But we are working hard to go deep into the playoffs again this season. Thanks to all of the fans who have been great. I'm driven to do as much as I can for our team, but still and all the fan support means so much."

Among his other accomplishments with the Cardinals:

  • Has 59 career regular season touchdowns after six seasons in the NFL
  • The youngest player to achieve over 7,000 yards receiving
  • Selected as MVP of the 2009 Pro Bowl
  • As the 2008 season came to a close Larry had six consecutive games with at least one touchdown, for a total of 10 touchdowns during that stretch
